Student Leadership Awards Banquet

April 25th, Campus Leaders honored for a year of Service to the LTU Community at the 2014 Student Leadership Awards Banquet held April 25th.

At LTU’s Student Leadership Awards Banquet on April 25, Student Government Executive Vice President-elect Ariana Strieter (L) and President-elect Gjergji Prendi were congratulated by Dean of Students Kevin Finn and this year’s StuGov officers, President Nicole Gerou, Vice President of Finance Kyle Converse, Vice President of Public Relations Shantel Miller, and Parliamentarian Anthony Kadzban.
Many student campus leaders were honored for a year of service to the LTU community at the 2014 Student Leadership Awards Banquet held April 25 at the Skyline Club in the Town Center in Southfield.
LTU President Virinder Moudgil attended the banquet and highlighted the importance of student involvement and student leadership in campus activities.
The new Student Government leaders for the next academic year, President-elect Gjergji Prendi and Executive Vice President-elect Ariana Strieter, were introduced at the banquet.
Award winners at the banquet included:
• Senior Legacy Award – Austin Chapman, Annie Knoff, and Ivan Garcia
• Tutor of the Year – Bradley Foley
• Student Volunteer of the Year – Kristin Jordan
• Student Employee of the Year – Stephen Lynch
• Blue-tify Campus Champion – Brazilian Student Association
• Emerging Organization of the Year – Chinese Student Association and Kappa Beta Gamma
• Most Involved Organization – American Institute of Architecture Students
• Continuing Excellence – Brazilian Student Association
• Student Leader of the Year – Alexandra Bryden (Female), Gabriel Ramirez (Male)
• Student Government Senator of the Year – Alexander Mozeihem
• Student Government Senate Leader of the Year – Ariana Strieter
